• The History of Wedgwood for 250 years -A design exhibition over brand's heritage-
  Museum of Modern Ceramics Art, Gifu

  Approximately 250 works will be exhibited, including pieces never exhibited publicty
  in Jappan before, such as Prince of Wales Vse, Portland Vase, and First Day's Vase.
  
• Momoyama Pottery Exhibition
  Ceramics Archives, Gifu
  (Higashi-machi, Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture)
  July 29(Tue) - Oct 5(Sun)
  An exhibition of the works representing the Momoyama Period, such as those of
  Shino, Oribe and Kizeto.
• Mino Ceramic Exhibition
  Tajimi Industory and Culture Center etc...
  (Shin-machi, Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture)
  # Day and Time still to be confirmed.
  Introducing the work of well-known potters, designers employed by ceramic producers,
  and young artists etc who work mainly in the Tono area.
• Potter's Clay Festa 2008

  The teams gathered by open call for participants compete for the production of the big
  art object in 3 days.
• Ascending Kiln Firing
  Yozaemon Kiln

  Presenting an authentic firing using firewood.
• Seto and Mino kilns spanning from the end of Edo period to the Meiji period.

• Exhibition of bowls made by kids
  Children's Ceramics Museum
  (Asahigaoka, Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture)
  Aug 1(Fri) - Aug 24(Sun)
  Children will paint their own original and highly creative designs onto bowls, which will
  then be exhibition.
