The appreciation of a beautiful piece of ceramic or porcelain is to either touch with hand and feel the texture and shape, or to visually enjoy through display in an appropriate environment (sometimes with professional lighting effect).
This China Fortune Cookie design challenge the audience to crack it with hands in order to be able to find out the message within is very unique. I would not crack this China Fortune Cookie not only because I never want to break a piece of ceramic or porcelain with my hands, but strongly believe that destiny is in your own hands but not from a piece of “Chinese” Fortune Cookie.
I believe this is the philosophy of the design from the designer (I hope I'm correct!) and wish human being take control of their life with the harmony of nature.
