Kyoto has always been my favorite city for many obvious reasons. The sensitivity of traditional Japanese culture is still found everywhere – from architecture, food, costume, music to my favorite Kyoto garden.
Although the creator said these plates are expression of raindrops but to me they remind me of the Kyoto sand garden. The peaceful and holistic values of these images always touch my inner soul.
The simplicity of these design provide infinite creativity for the chef as much as beauty that we can enjoy while having delicious food.
