Approximately 2,000 entries from more than 50 countries and regions were received in this truly international ceramics competition, and from amongst these, about 200 selected works are on exhibit. In a complete change from the stillness of the 7th competition's exhibition, this exhibition overflows with a sense of excitement, and you will be greeted by works that proudly show off current world trends. The enjoyment of interacting with the works is heightened by the introductory images of the judging process and the use of the three-dimensional space, invoking a sense of unity with the works. There is also an opportunity to experience the feel and the functionality of the works, enabling a much closer connection with the works themselves.
